Overall good quality, looks great, solid black that has not faded after a few washes, classic oversized fit and plenty warm. However to a surprise of no one the fabric is not the same as it was even a few years ago and forget any comparisons to the ‘old’ stuff (although if I remember correctly the cuffs on those hoodies started falling apart pretty quickly, cuffs on this feel good and don’t get all stretched out when it’s time to ‘pull your sleeves up’). Only real complaint is mine has started pilling after a few months of occasional wear, older stuff has never pilled after years of almost everyday use.

Always worry if XL sizes will fit appropriately when ordering online, but Carhartt seems to be right on the nose with sizing.
As you can see my husband feels like quite the action figure model in his new sweatshirt.
Material is very nice and warm. I would think these hoodies are very popular in areas of the country where it’s quite cold.

It’s great quality and warm. Fits well and he wears it often. It does shed though, a lot. After multiple washes the shedding isn’t as noticeable. It has not shrunk after being washed and dried.
